Pakistani film Lamha aka Seedlings makes it to The New York City International Film Festival
We picked up the news from social media sources about this latest venture from Pakistan that has made to the prestigious New York City International Film Festival (NYCIFF). NYCIFF is held annually at Times Square, New York, and runs in conjunction with the NYFilmMarket, the only film market in the US East Coast.
[box_info]The news was broken by the crew via their Facebook page and it read, “This just in: LAMHA (Seedlings) – (a Bodhicitta Works and Ice Animations production) – will be having its World Premiere in New York City on 10th Aug and a second screening on 14th August!! Chawda Augusst ki baat!….”[/box_info]
Lamha made it to the list of final 100 out of total 3000 film entries. And, to top it all, the film has been nominated for the award categories of Best Producer, Best Director, Best Writer and Best Actor.
The Film revolves around the story of a happy couple and how their lives are changed forever after a devastating accident that leaves them in the unbearable situation of nurturing the possibility of stability again.
